1988

Foundation of Company R.A.M. GmbH

In 1988 R.A.M. GmbH is founded with a mission to revolutionize industrial quality optimization. Under the guidance of CEO Helmut Flohr, the company establishes itself as a leader in delivering precise and reliable solutions, setting new standards in quality and efficiency.

1990

Installation of the first inspection system, which is still in use today

In a testament to our commitment to durability and reliability, the first inspection system installed in 1990 is still in operation today. This milestone not only validated our technological prowess but also built long-term trust with our clients.

2001

Foundation of R.A.M. Kunststofftechnik GmbH as a 100% subsidiary firm to expand consulting and sales activities in the market.

The R.A.M. GmbH focuses on manufacturing and developing while R.A.M. Kunststofftechnik GmbH provides the consulting and sales. R.A.M. Kunststofftechnik GmbH offers complete solutions for optical inspection and thickness measurement of strip products, moisture measuring using IR sensors as well as residual moisture measurement.

2008

We moved from Floersheim City Center to Floersheim-Keramag, where we are still today, Boettgerstraße 6b.

2015

Worldwide we have more than 300 inspection systems installed and successfully running.

These systems ensure the quality of film in manufacturing, paper, nonwoven, plastic sheets and steel-plates (alloying).
Our software “CAMEN” (Computer Aided Manufacturing Environment) allows custom integration into existing machine structures.
Universal analysis tools enable the online analysis, alerting and analysis of post-production data. Our modular web inspection systems allows for easy expansion for growing requirements.

2019

Launch of plastPMS - Revolutionizing Quality Control

Introduced plastPMS, an advanced production monitoring system with real-time analysis, threshold alarms, and predictive production capabilities, designed to optimize quality and minimize waste. Compatible with multiple operating systems and featuring customizable statistics and reporting.

Introducing Our Precision-Engineered LABEXtruder

Formed a groundbreaking partnership with recycling companies, integrating plastPMS with AI for advanced gels measurement. Simultaneously, rolled out our first LAB-Extruder systems at client locations, marking a significant stride in both sustainable manufacturing and client-focused innovation.

Release of AIREC® - Artificial Intelligence for Recycling
