AI-based Qualification, Control, and Optimization of Material Flows to Close Regional Resource Loops.
Last week, the kickoff meeting for our new funded project on AI-based optimization of material flows took place at our office in Wiesbaden: 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒 – “𝐊𝐈-based Qualification, 𝐒teering and Optimization of 𝐒treams to Close Regional Resource Loops.”
We are developing an AI platform to classify and optimally utilize plastic waste from industry, commerce, and agriculture. Our goal is to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the circular economy. The project is publicly funded for three years by the Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, and Housing of Hessen as part of the Climate Plan and the Resource Transition funding call, and is supported by Technologieland Hessen. We thank them for their support and look forward to working together!
The project partners include the following companies in Hessen:
RIGK GmbH:
Developing the AI platform and conducting lab tests for sorting materials within the PlastCert department.
RAM GmbH:
Improving processing methods for processors and recyclers to enhance the quality of recycled materials and products while reducing waste.
Plastship GmbH:
Providing a database for recycled materials and end applications.
Veridis:
Analyzing and testing the composition of plastics.
The project results are expected to greatly improve resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact. By using recycled materials and optimizing transport routes, the project aims to lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Stay tuned for more updates!
