Quality in the loop.

Recyclates are only as good as their quality. We make it measurable — in real time, directly in the extrusion process, as the basis for higher-value recycling.

PQMex® Quality measurement in the extruder
[ 01 ]Recycling

Recyclate quality, precisely measured

As the circular economy grows, so do the quality demands on recyclates. Our technology captures contamination and defects directly in the process — creating the basis for reliable classification.

Gels

Reliably detect gel inclusions in the recyclate.

Black specks

Carbon black and dark contamination.

Fisheyes

Lens-shaped defects in the material.

Holes

Spot holes and weak points.

PQMex® – Gel Analyser

PQMex® – Gel Analyser

The PQMex® – Gel Analyser measures the quality of recyclates directly in the extruder: gels, black specks, fisheyes and holes are captured in real time — the basis for reliable classification into quality grades.

What this means in operation

Measuring quality is not an end in itself. The benefit shows where material, machine time and complaints cost money.

Three steps ahead

You know in advance how a batch will behave — instead of finding out during film production. That moves the decision to the point where it is still inexpensive.

Less scrap and fewer returns

Unsuitable material is identified before processing. That reduces scrap and cuts complaints and returns.

Better machine utilisation

Fewer unplanned stops and material changes mean more productive hours on the same line.

Return on investment

Scrap avoided, less downtime and a recyclate that can be sold at a higher grade all contribute to the payback.

How strongly this takes effect depends on the material, the line and the process. We are happy to work through it with you using your own figures.
